good old lenny blair aye. that cliched photoshop filter. anyway in a sort of homage to the late 90's classic - here is a flash version interactive stylee.
I was going to draw lots of circles and rings in flash to be like the photoshop main lens flare, but then i had a brainwave and drew one in illustrator and exported the swf. Then i have made all the elements into movieclips with ink effects and bitmap cashing and some funky gradient masking on the spiky element. you can find how to do that at senocular.
